This area is another very evocative spot. Housed in the old dairy, where the farm’s milk used to be processed, this room has a fine old fireplace and starred-vaults of the Salento in tufa stone. On one side of the fireplace is a passageway that leads up to the area known as the sopra-furnu, or “over the oven”, once used to age the farm’s cheeses.
The furnishings in the bar are all made using old farming tools, such as the little plough and the bridle.
